EASO’s annual flagship report serves as the EU’s primary means of evaluating the functioning of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS). As the go-to source of information on international protection in Europe, the EASO Asylum Report 2021 provides a comprehensive overview of recent key developments in asylum. The report outlines changes in asylum trends and policies, shares best practices and summarises challenges which persist.
During the event, together with Ylva Johansson, European Commissioner for Home Affairs, Mikael Ribbenvik, Chair of the EASO Management Board and EASO experts, EASO’s Executive Director, Nina Gregori will present recent developments in asylum trends, legislation and policies, best practices and challenges which persist.
The event will also include a live Questions and Answers session. Questions for the speakers can be submitted in advance by email or asked in writing during the virtual event.
