On 2 November, Federica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, visited European Asylum Support Office (EASO) Headquarters in Malta, Valletta.

José Carreira, Executive Director of EASO, and his team briefed the High Representative/Vice-President Mogherini on the EASO's main activities, with a particular focus on the supporting role and ongoing operations on the ground in Greece and Italy as well as EASO’s External Dimension activities.
