This report provides an update, as of March 2025, on profiles potentially relevant for international protection in Somalia. For each profile, it includes a description, information on the perpetrators (where available), the types of treatment reported by consulted sources, and potential state recourse mechanisms, including their effectiveness. The second section offers an update on key socio-economic indicators with a focus on three Somali cities: Mogadishu, Garowe, and Hargeisa.
