Learning outcomes & description
DESCRIPTION
The aim of this module is to provide learners with the knowledge on the reception process and the applicable provisions according to EU law.
This module focuses on basic tasks of reception officials related to arrival, stay, and the end of reception for asylum applicants.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of this module, the learner will be able to:

Identify the phases of the reception process and corresponding rights and obligations of applicants and reception authorities according to the Reception Conditions Directive.

Provide the appropriate responses in organising practical, financial and logistical support, and appointments for the applicants.

The module is delivered online, enabling self-paced learning.
ASSESSMENT STRATEGY
The assessment strategy is based on one assessment at the end of the module. Questions are multiple-choice, with some being scenario based, and assess the elements of both learning outcomes.
