The report provides an overview of the general security situation in Iraq; political developments, humanitarian and socio‑economic situation; the situation of internally displaced persons (IDPs); the treatment of specific profiles perceived to be opposing state and non-state actors, such as journalists, individuals with (perceived) affiliation to ISIL, members of political opposition parties, human rights activists and protesters. Additionally, the report covers the situation of women and girls, children, LGBTIQ persons, individuals perceived as transgressing moral and Islamic norms, minorities, Palestinians in Iraq, persons involved in and affected by blood/land feuds in the context of tribal conflict.
