Report on mental health of applicants

Vulnerability and special needs

for international protection in Europe

This report aims to gain a better understanding of what mental health means and implies for applicants of international protection arriving in EU+ countries. This will, in turn, inform the development of effective, timely and appropriate support initiatives that asylum authorities can put in place, with a tailored approach, to care for the applicants entrusted to them.
