The implementation of EASO-Albania Roadmap for Cooperation started in December 2020 and will be running for the next 24 months (until November 2022). This first Roadmap identifies three main areas of cooperation with Albania 'strengthening of asylum related legislation in line with the CEAS and EU standards', 'establishing effective asylum procedures' and 'an effective reception system'. The aim is to support Albania with the ongoing drafting of by-laws related to the new asylum law; improve knowledge and further develop skills of the case officers to assess the asylum claims effectively and efficiently and enhance reception services and conditions available to unaccompanied minors and vulnerable migrants.
