Description

Description

The aim of this module is to provide future assessors with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct fair and robust assessments in the context of EUAA training.

This module focuses on the various elements of assessments and verification. It is composed of learning activities and simulations that mirror parts of the assessor's tasks and complement the learning journey.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  1. Grade and verify assessments of learning against marking criteria
  2. Justify the grade awarded to learners with formative feedback
  3. Identify the assessor’s role in ensuring the quality of assessments

This module is delivered online and is a mandatory part of the programme to become an EUAA-certified trainer.  The module is also available as a face-to-face workshop of 1.5 days including a one-hour summative assessment.

The assessment strategy is composed of a practical assessment divided into two tasks. Both tasks directly assess the elements of the three learning outcomes.
