This module focuses on the concept of the best interests of the child, the legal framework and specific rights of children, as well as their vulnerabilities throughout the asylum process.

  2. Identify the child specific rights in the asylum process in line with the international and EU legal framework
  3. Identify the procedural safeguards applicable to children and their specific needs in the asylum process.
  4. Propose relevant actions to be taken based no the special needs an the best interests of the child within the asylum process.
