Successfully passed Access to the asylum procedure: Making an application for international protection AND any qualification at EQF level 3 or equivalent

 

Description
The aim of this module is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to process the registration and lodging of an application for international protection in line with the EU asylum acquis and fundamental rights, while taking into account the special needs of vulnerable persons.

 

This module focuses on the knowledge and skills needed to provide information to applicants for international protection during the registration process.

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  1. Identify the key steps to registering applications for international protection according to the EU legal framework and key fundamental rights
  2. Select an appropriate approach to gathering relevant information from applications for international protection during the registration process
  3. Select the relevant information to be provided to applicants for international protection during the registration process and the appropriate communication techniques
  4. Identify appropriate approaches to consider the special needs of vulnerable applicants during the registration process
 
This module is delivered online, enabling self-paced learning.
The assessment strategy is based on one assessment at the end of the module and is designed to assess the elements of the learning outcomes of the module.
