Description

Description

The aim of this module is to outline the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to prepare and write a decision on the end of protection.
This module focuses on the relevant legal provisions and procedural safeguards pertaining to the end of protection. It also deals with the interpretation of the conditions that lead to the end of protection as laid down in the Qualification Directive.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  1. Identify grounds for withdrawing international protection through individual assessments
  2. Apply the relevant legal provisions and procedures relating to the end of protection

This module is delivered through a blended learning methodology (online and face-to-face). Online learning contains learning activities that assess progress toward the learning outcomes, and face-to-face sessions focus on complex elements that require discussion.
This module will be upgraded as part of the restructuring of the European Asylum Curriculum.
