New Pact training

New Pact training

EUAA launched its tailor-made training products on the new legal framework stemming from the Pact on Migration and Asylum on 15th October 2024.  The training took the format of 4–6-hour webinars facilitated by EUAA personnel.  These training sessions have been attended by hundreds of participants.  In order to further expand our outreach, we are proud to announce that the content of such products has now been transformed and re-developed into self-paced, fully online, training products which will be available from May 2025, less than a year after the adoption of the Pact.
The new format will give learners the chance to benefit from the tailor-made training on the Pact at their own pace and focus on relevant parts, while trying learning activities to test their knowledge.  At the same time, EUAA will be in a position to offer training content to a wider audience and provide learners with knowledge and skills on the main aspects of the legislation stemming from the Pact on Migration and Asylum in four key areas, and namely:
  • The Asylum Procedure in the Pact on Migration and Asylum
  • The Reception Conditions Directive in the Pact on Migration and Asylum
  • The new Asylum and Migration Management Regulation (AMMR)
  • Vulnerability in the Pact on Migration and Asylum
Additionally, EUAA will be offering a fifth product, a crash course on the Pact (“Pact on Migration and Asylum: Key Legislative Changes”), which will incorporate all the four key areas mentioned above.

Costs: There are no fees for the training sessions.
Expected duration: The webinars have an expected duration of 4-6 hours. The self-paced online sessions will be accessible for a period of four weeks and have an expected duration of 4-6 hours of online learning.
