The European Asylum Curriculum offers seven modules on the topic of Reception, designed to enhance understanding and practical skills in managing reception processes. These modules include: Introduction to psychosocial support and guidance in reception, Interpreting in the reception context, and Conflict management and mediation in reception, which focus on supporting individuals and resolving conflicts. The modules on Reception of vulnerable persons (identification of vulnerability and provision of initial support, and needs assessment and design of interventions) aim to address the specific needs of vulnerable individuals during reception. Additionally, the Introduction to reception and Health, safety, and security in reception modules provide essential knowledge for managing reception centres effectively.
The curriculum also includes a tailor-made training, focusing on the assessment of reception conditions (ARC) tool in practice, helping practitioners assess and improve reception environments.
