ENTRY REQUIREMENTS & PREREQUISITES

Being a trainer of the core modules OR having passed the assessments of all the core modules

This course aims to provide trainers of the EUAA core modules with best practices, additional techniques and didactic strategies.

This course focuses on the main cross-cutting challenges faced by learners in the core modules Inclusion, Asylum Interview Method and Evidence Assessment. The course reflects principles set out in the EU asylum acquis and provides trainers with practical examples and strategies to address complex issues. This course is also an opportunity for trainers of the EUAA core modules to practice and discuss common challenges and share common solutions.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

1. Identify and apply strategies to address and correct the most common challenges faced by learners of EUAA core modules

2. Present the trainer’s module of specialisation as an organic part of a larger decision-making process

3. Apply the principles of and the necessary skills for performing the duties and tasks of a core module trainer

This module is delivered through a blended learning methodology (online and face-to-face). Online learning contains learning activities that assess progress toward the learning outcomes, and face-to-face sessions focus on complex elements that require discussion.
