‘sodomy’
|
According to Sharia, ‘sodomy’ is a crime committed in the following way: ‘Whoever has anal coitus with any man is said to commit the offence of sodomy’ (Kaduna and Yobe); ‘Whoever has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man or woman is said to commit the offence of sodomy’ (all other Sharia-implementing states). Kano and Katsina qualify this: ‘with any man or woman through her rectum’.
